The premises has been in the family for several generation and was once the family home of the present proprietor, Jon Griffith. Ten years ago it was converted into the present unique fireplace retail outlet and repairs stuio. This famous Canterbury home 'Thanet House' retains that Victorian atmosphere and when you visit you can visualise what your ideal fire will look like in a homley environment.
